Word of Life Substance Abuse Center

Word of Life Substance Abuse Center

WHO ARE WE...

The Word of Life is a residential substance abuse center that offers 24-hour security monitored treatment for male and female clients. The Word of Life has experienced great success using The GOD 14 (Getting Off Drugs in 14 Weeks) curriculum, achieving exceptional success rates for recovery from addiction to alcohol, street and prescription drugs. Recovery from substance abuse can have difficult changes mentally, physically, and spiritually. With this in mind, a whole person, holistic approach is utilized for complete recovery.

Our 24-bed, 14-week recovery program combines:

Detoxifying through nutritional supplementation as well as incorporating changes in diet.
Identification and correction of mental and emotional triggers, which lead to relapse.
Personal spiritual growth challenges aimed at empowerment to remain addiction free.
This method has proven to be effective with little to no withdrawal symptoms or craving.

WHAT DO WE OFFER...
Cognitive Therapy

A type of psychotherapy in which negative patterns of thought about the self and the world are challenged in order to alter unwanted behavior patterns or treat mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, PTSD and many others.

Faith-Based Therapy

Based on understanding our beliefs, acknowledging Godly choices, and adding the power of God through faith and prayer.

Based on the power of God to bring change and help to those in need, and change to the situation as needed.

Based on the fact that man is a spirit, has a soul, and lives in a body. A person's spirit is most significant for empowering change, yet recovery should incorporate healing of the whole person.

Based on the fact that a trained and caring person can help others through life's difficulties.

Based on the fact that God has a wonderful plan, and purpose for one's life that is bigger than life controlling issues.

Based on the gracious heart of God, the power of His Spirit, the example of His Son, and the truth of the Bible.
